October is cyber security awareness month and NAIFA is in the lead helping to educate members about the risks associated with cyberattacks. NAIFA has also launched two new cyber security products and an insurance program for our members.

About the Presenters:
James Harrison is the founder and CEO of INVISUS, a nationwide cybersecurity and ID theft protection company.  With over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, James is a pioneer and leading expert in computer and Internet security, identity theft, and data breach prevention and compliance.  He is the chief strategist and product visionary for INVISUS, responsible for the development of the company’s identity theft and cybersecurity solutions, including the InfoSafe data breach compliance and certification program.
James is regularly invited to speak and train at various industry and trade conferences including insurance, financial services, legal services, and more.  He was recently asked to testify and educate members of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) about the growing business identity theft and data breach crisis.  James recently spoke and trained on data breach prevention and compliance for financial advisors and insurance professionals at the NAIFA Performance + Purpose Conference.
 Nicholas Carozza is the author of “Cybersecurity - Insurance Selling Tips” in Today’s Insurance Professionals spring 2016 issue. He has trained in London with different cyber syndicates, regularly provides webinars for his clients about cyber insurance and how to sell it, and is always trying to think of new ways to approach risks.
Carozza is a 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky and received majors in Business Administration/Management and Communication. He began his career in insurance as an intern for Risk Placement Services (RPS) in Cambridge, Maryland when he was a sophomore in college.  Now employed as a commercial insurance broker, he specializes in writing all lines of coverage for Technology Risks and Cyber Liability for any industry of any size.
