About the presenters: Brock Jolly is a founding partner of the wealth management firm Veritas Financial, LLC, headquartered in Tysons Corner, Virginia, and has been recognized as a top performer within the financial planning community. In 2002, Brock founded The College Funding Coach® with one goal in mind: teaching parents how to pay for college for their kids without sacrificing their own retirement savings. His refreshing and somewhat unconventional workshop, “Little-Known Secrets of Paying for College” was originally taught in all of the counties in and around the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area through adult education programs, directly with public and private schools, as well as with many businesses and community organizations.

Chad Pisorchik, Director, Strategic Partnership Acquisition
Chad joined Sallie Mae in 2012 as the Director of Relationship Management for Campus Solutions. Since then, Chad has held multiple roles at Sallie Mae.  As the Director of Strategic Partnership Acquisition, Chad is responsible for building out new sales verticals that expands from our traditional distribution partners (Banks and Credit Unions).  Chad has more than 27 years of experience within the financial services industry.  Prior to joining Sallie Mae, Chad held numerous Business Development roles with Bank of America and MBNA. Chad holds a BS in Health Science from Lock Haven University.

Karie Bedford, Relationship Manager – Partner Channel
Karie joined Sallie Mae in November of 2012 as a Coordinator for Campus Solutions. In 2013 Karie was offered a new opportunity to work in Operations and assisted with various projects as they related to the company split. Karie joined the Partner Channel in 2015 and is responsible for managing relationships with many of our top partners including Regions Bank, Commerce Bank, and M&T Bank. Prior to Sallie Mae, she worked on Capitol Hill as an event planner.
