National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors

Investment News Recognizes NAIFA for Advancing Diversity & Inclusion

NAIFA is proud to announce that the association has been selected as an Honorable Mention as part of InvestmentNews’ inaugural Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award Program. NAIFA will be recognized from the podium during the Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Awards Ceremony, which takes place October 9 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

NAIFA was selected for this prestigious award because of its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the financial-services industry. Over the past two years, the association has undertaken a number of high-profile D&I initiatives, including the creation of a Champions of Diversity Award, the hosting of two Diversity Symposiums, and the publication of three high-quality Action Reports: Champions of Diversity, Profiles in Success and Finding Success in Diverse Markets

“It is an honor to be selected as an Honorable Mention in InvestmentNews’ Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award Program,” according to NAIFA’s CEO, Kevin Mayeux, CAE. “For over a century, NAIFA members have worked tirelessly to protect the financial futures of millions of American families. As we implement our 20/20 Strategic Plan, of which diversity is a major component, we will continue to pursue initiatives that promote a more diverse membership and cater to the needs of a more diverse market.”

In earning an Honorable Mention title, NAIFA joins the ranks of major companies that were also selected for their impressive efforts at spreading diversity and inclusion within the financial-services industry, including AXA Advisors and Lincoln Financial Networks.

NAIFA will continue its efforts at promoting diversity and inclusion during the association’s Performance + Purpose Conference, which takes place September 13 to September 16 in San Antonio. For more information, visit www.naifa.org.
