DOL Formally Proposes Delay of Fiduciary Rule Applicability Date to June 9

On March 2, the Department of Labor (DOL) formally proposed a delay in the fiduciary rule’s applicability date to June 9, 2017. The proposal included a 15-day comment period on the proposed delay. NAIFA will submit comments. The comment period closes March 17.
