Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors to Gather in Las Vegas Sept. 8-11 for National Industry Conference and Exhibition

Falls Church, VA (September 4, 2012) —Insurance agents and financial advisors will gather Sept. 8-11, 2012, in Las Vegas to discuss emerging trends and issues facing the industry, including the impact tax reform and the potential perils the fiscal cliff may have on their businesses, and the role agents play in helping consumers secure long-range financial security in today’s economic environment.

The conference and exhibition will be held at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Sessions are organized under topics tailored to the different interests and needs of NAIFA members, including life insurance and annuities, multiline, health and employee benefits, financial advising and investments, and sales and marketing. On Monday, Sept. 10, the NAIFA Government Relations Team will provide a briefing on the critical legislative and regulatory challenges facing the industry, including tax reform, Dodd-Frank financial reform <> , and NAIFA’s position on the Supreme Court decision on healthcare reform.

The conference will feature a live web cast of the 2012 Recipients of the realLIFEstories Award and LIFE Leadership. Brian Ashe, CLU, president of Brian Ashe and Associates of Lisle, Ill., and an AXA Advisor, will be presented with the industry’s highest honor as the 71st recipient of the John Newton Russell Memorial Award. The conference also will host nearly 100 exhibitors that serve all facets of the industry.
