Leaders from NAIFA and NAIC Meet in Kansas City to Discuss Industry Issues
On Wednesday, January 30, executives from NAIFA and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) met at the NAIC Executive Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. Principals of the two associations met to discuss matters of common interest, including producer licensing, the Interstate Compact, Stranger-Originated Life Insurance (STOLI), senior designations, and insurance regulatory modernization. NAIFA attendees characterized the meetings very positive and forward-looking, and reiterated a commitment to cooperation and an enhanced relationship between NAIFA and NAIC.
