Encourage your Agencies to Apply for the 2009 Manager’s Membership Award
The Manager's Membership Award is a joint award developed by NAIFA and GAMA International to recognize managers and their organizations for their membership support and commitment to the financial services industry.
Agency managers who are GAMA members and have high percentage of NAIFA member agents are encouraged to apply. Please keep in mind that Northwestern Mutual Agencies who achieve this award are eligible to have the National portion of their membership dues refunded to each agent.
For all award requirements, please review the application and apply online by visiting www.naifa.org/mma. If members prefer, an application or flyer may also be downloaded on the website. All applications must be submitted by June 30.

Help Your Association End the Membership Year Strong!
The 2008-2009 NAIFA membership year is drawing to a close and now is the time to take advantage of the numerous tools available to you to recruit and renew NAIFA members. Here is how you can make “the ask…”
1. Visit www.membershiptracker.org to contact lapsed members in your local and state. The Membership Tracker also provides lists of prospective members who are as close as five miles from your zip code!
2. Stock up on the latest marketing materials from www.naifamarketplace.com. The NAIFA Marketplace provides you with membership kits, marketing materials and advocacy pieces all designed to help you promote the value of NAIFA membership.
3. Remember in your year-end marketing efforts to promote the new membership programs with Allianz, Allstate, Farmers Insurance and Prudential Financial.
4. We encourage you to work toward achieving NAIFA’s membership awards: The Manager’s Membership Award and the Outstanding Member Recruiter Award.
Remember, all membership applications/renewals postmarked on or before June 30, 2009 will count towards the 2008-2009 membership year! You still have time to make a difference! Now is the time to make “the ask” and help finish the membership year strong.
