The Covenant Group’s (TCG) mission is to “educate and coach financial advisors and to provide them with the processes and tools necessary to grow their businesses.” NAIFA and TCG have teamed together to provide NAIFA members with an easy-to-implement value continuum of practice development models and methods that will appeal to all agents and advisors at any career level.

NAIFA members have access to tools and tips, and books, such as The 8 Best Practices of High Performing Salespeople and the Entrepreneurial Journey. Members also receive discounts on the Web-based Program, “Getting in the Game,” Advisor Coaching as well as the Advanced Practice Development.

The Web-based Program “Getting in the Game” can help members develop a tactical plan to help them identify steps they need to take to reach their goals and objectives. Participants create a marketing plan and will use the online system to create a set of pro-forma income statements that forecast revenues, expenses and net income.

Advisor Coaching takes place over seven, 30-minute telephone coaching sessions designed to help NAIFA members understand how to engage more effectively with prospective clients, new clients, staff, and others.

For those looking for a more sound business plan, NAIFA members can choose to take part in the Advanced Practice Development Program, a 3-phased process consisting of a 30-minute pre-session conference call, a one-day consulting session and two-30 minute follow up conference calls. NAIFA members are challenged to ensure their strategies are robust, appropriate and can be implemented in a realistic and timely manner.
