STOLI Alert Newsletter

NAIFA, working in coordination with the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and the American Council of Life Insurers, is publishing STOLI Alert, a quarterly newsletter designed to explain what STOLI is, discuss recent legislative and regulatory developments, separate fact from myth and outline where we stand on the issue.

STOLI Alert is part of an industry coalition effort to educate lawmakers, regulators and the news media about our concerns with stranger-originated life insurance (STOLI). The groups plan to use the newsletter for both advocacy and educational purposes, and make it available to policymaking groups such as the National Conference of Insurance Legislators and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, which are both considering model legislation to address the problem of STOLI.
