NAIFA's Bill Anderson to Speak on NCOIL Panel Regarding Annuity Suitability |
NAIFA Senior Vice President Bill Anderson will appear on a panel at the upcoming 2010 NCOIL Spring Meeting to discuss state action on annuity suitability. NCOIL is holding its meeting in Isle of Palms, South Carolina between March 5 and March 7. The panel discussion—being held on March 5—is titled “Annuity Suitability: What Are the Answers?” and will look at what states are doing to ensure annuity suitability, whether or not tougher licensing and training is required, what the impact will be of the NAIC’s work on its annuity suitability model regulation, whether or not seniors need special protection, and what state resources are available. Along with Anderson, the following people will sit on the panel:
