Reason Action Is Urgently Needed: The Senate is debating its version of health reform right now. The debate is covering a wide variety of issues and amendments. To date 165 amendments have been filed, 110 from Democrats and 55 from Republicans. This is our opportunity to address critical issues since any bill passed by the Senate will be the starting place for conferees reconciling the final Senate bill with the House-passed bill H.R. 3962 .
