NAIFA’s Congressional Conference brought approximately 1,000 NAIFA members together to learn about the legislative issues that matter to people in our industry, and most importantly, our clients. NAIFA members took that knowledge to Capitol Hill on Tuesday, April 9th. Don't forget to tell us about your congressional meetings.
Overview
The NAIFA Congressional Conference in Washington D.C. was a day for NAIFA members to communicate their expertise and concerns to their elected officials in a meaningful and impactful way. The Conference was an opportunity for NAIFA members to build new relationships and strengthen existing connections in order to establish a basic level of education among all members of Congress and their staff about the value of life insurance, annuities, retirement savings and employee benefits to 75 million American families. The Conference will be followed up with in-district meetings with lawmakers throughout the year and "walk-ins" during August Congressional Recess.
