The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU)
The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, a NAIFA conference, is a national association of nearly 2,000 advanced life insurance planners who are committed to preserving insurance through political involvement. NAIFA and AALU members are represented by the best lobbyists in the industry who work hard to ensure that the legislative and regulatory environments remain favorable to members and their clients alike. AALU also offers courses and information that estate, business, and pension planners need to manage both their businesses and their careers.

The Association of Health Insurance Advisors (AHIA)
The Association of Health Insurance Advisors, a NAIFA conference, is dedicated to helping health and employee benefits advisors shape state and federal legislation and regulation that impacts their business. AHIA also provides members with discounts on a wide range of programs, professional designations and resources, and sponsors seminars and educational conferences on long-term care insurance, disability-income insurance and other health insurance topics. AHIA members are included in an online agent referral system at www.ahia.net allowing consumers to search for advisors by entering their zip codes.

GAMA International
GAMA International, a NAIFA conference, represents the industry's general agents and managers. GAMA provides world-class education and training resources for individuals, companies and organizations involved with the recruitment and development of field managers, representatives and staff in the life insurance and financial services industry. And through extensive research and education, GAMA responds to the major issues facing the industry.
The Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE)
The Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate the public about the essential role of life and health insurance within a sound financial plan, and the value added by insurance agents and other financial advisors. LIFE was formed in 1994 by seven insurance groups, representing more than 120,000 agents. These groups came together in response to a growing need to make sure the public understood the role and value of the industry's products and its people. Since then, LIFE has developed a diverse program that educates consumers and empowers them with the knowledge needed to make informed insurance decisions.
The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)
The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is the premier association for the world's best sales professionals in the life insurance-based financial services business. Founded in 1927, MDRT provides its members with resources to improve their technical knowledge, sales and client service while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards. Round Table membership is an exclusive honor that is achieved only by a small percentage of all life insurance and financial services advisors worldwide. MDRT is comprised of nearly 25,000 qualifiers who reside in 66 nations and territories, representing about 475 companies.
The American College/LUTC
In 2001, The American College, the nation's oldest, largest and most prestigious distance learning institution devoted exclusively to financial services joined with LUTC, Inc., a sales and skills training program cofounded by NAIFA. This provides NAIFA members with more opportunities than ever before to prepare themselves for a multitude of consumer and business markets and insurance specialties. Students learn at their own pace, may take courses online, and can acquire the latest industry knowledge while earning designations that signal their commitment to the profession. Designations offered by The American College and LUTC include CFP, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, RHU, RHBC and MSFS.
Women in Insurance and Financial Services
Founded in 1936, Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS) is a national association dedicated to the support, education and mentoring of women in the financial services arena. WIFS has the ability to educate women, as well as companies wanting to attract, develop and retain female agents and advisors. The association provides a strong support group that is vested in ensuring the business and personal success of fellow members.
LIMRA International
LIMRA International is a worldwide association providing research, consulting and other services to nearly 850 insurance and financial services companies in more than 60 countries. LIMRA was established in 1916 to help its member companies maximize their marketing effectiveness.
